If there were an award for TV's fittest cast, then the stars of 'London's Burning' would run away with the team prize.  Six of them joined the TV Times/Asics team to run the Fleet Half-Marathon, in Hampshire, last week as part of their training for this year's Flora London Marathon on Sunday 14th, April.

 

For most, this will be their second marathon, and Michael Garner, who plays Geoff 'Poison' Pierce, admits: "It's been a bit hard this year because we've been so busy filming, but I'm sure we'll all comlete it."

The winner of the individual 'fit TV bloke' award must be 'Peak Practice's' Jamie Bamber, though.  He stormed round the half-marathon course in 1hr. 25 minutes.
